Eskrima Kali Arnis

Eskrima was developed in the Philippines by the peasant people during the civil, tribal and world wars.

Translated as "skirmish", the main weapon is a simple "rattan" stick. Once you have picked up the basics, you can soon turn the most useless of objects such as a rolled up newspaper into an imposing weapon.

The eskrima classes are graded in "Estilo Libre Eskrima" which is Master Richard Hudson's system and includes:

The sport side of Eskrima consists of wearing protective clothing, pads, gloves and involves full contact sparring. This is also practiced at the academy and Kickfit has an incredible history of achievement in national and international competitions including multiple world champions.

All classes are suitable for complete beginners, intermediate and advanced students.
