Antique Doctors Swordstick /swordcane
SwordstickDoctors0001 A vintage-Antique Doctors Swordstick /swordcane A lovely sword cane which would have been carried by a Doctor in the late 1890s -1900 when they had defend them selves in the Dark gas light streets on there rounds seeing patients! The handle of this lovely stick is made of Celluloid and in the form of the Doctors symbol which is a Fist holding a Snake on a base of leaves which signifys Medicine ! The handle has a brass coller . The 24.25”Inch /61.5cm Hegxagional Blade has a few dings in it but still in good condition . The shaft is made of Bamboo with brass ferrel,the ferrel has a few cracks in it. Overall length 36”inch /89cm

Antique Sword Stick Handle made from Rattan Root ball and shark skin (same'/Shaggreen)Handle .Rattan shaft .(Metal ferrel missing) 17.6"inch /44cm thick Diamond section blade with brass collor ,probabley from a 16th century Rapier . Afew years ago i had the British and Europeian Martial Arts Federation (Swordplay) at my Martial Atrs Premisus for there AGM ,Courses and Gradings. There members looked at this sword stick and the other in the photo and told me that they think that these are made from 16th Century Spanish Rapier Blades. I bought these in the Philippines in 1991 .The Philippines was claimed by Spain in 1521 by Magellan (but he got a kicking! and was killed by the Filipino King Lapu-Lapu) But forty years later Spain came back and had the Philippines untill the USA defeated Spain the the Spanish American War (SPANAM War) of 1898.

Bamboo shaft with dark age pattina and brass ferrel. 13.7"inch/34cm sharpe Blade ,with is flat on one side and raised on the other (like in a Borneo Dyak Headhunters Mandau Sword). Overall Length 31"inches/71cm
Antique Swordstick with Tri Section Blade
Antique Swordstick with Tri Section Blade and exsotic wood shaft and crock handle terminating in a Amber colour Horn Pommel . The shaft has a white metal coller and brass sleave .But missing the ferrel at the bottom. The 27.25”inch /69cm blade is in Tri Form with three deep fullers and a very sharp tip!! .The blade is set in a white metal coller that fits snugly in to the shat when closed. Good condition some scuffing and bruseing to shaft.,some minor pitting to the blade.

Fantastic Ivory Swordstick with 18thCenturySmallsword blade
Fantastic Swordstick with 18th Century Tri-section Hollow ground ,25.75" inch/65.5cm Smallsword blade. The blade is engraved with writing ? and makers mark? at the Recasso. The handle is Carved From Elephant Ivory which looks to be an 18th century "Coach Knob" for the door of a stage coach. I have a book with a swordstick in it and the handle is made from George washington's Ivory coach knob! The Swordstick/swordcane i am selling also has a sterling silver collor Hallmarked dated 1867 Sheffield. Ebonised wood shaft ending with a brass and steel ferrell. overall length 36.5 " inches /92.5cm.

There is one of these sword sticks by Mole of Birmingham In the Leeds Royal Armouries! The date c1900.
But this one is much earler Georgain 1780s-1820.
Rustic wood shaft and Large crook handle with Iron collers and Georgian type long Iorn ferrel . Nice old Dark patina overall. The stick has a 29.75”/75.5cm Squire section tapered blade possably? made by Mole ,Birmingham which made swords for the Britsh Army in the 19th Century and early part of the 20th century. Some dark staining to the blade and odd pit. Over all length 35.5”/90cm.
One of these sold on ebay a few weeks ago for £360.00!! These sword sticks were used by HM Customs in the 18th and 19 th centurys.

Very good Antique Swordstick carved Buffalo horn Fist
SwordsticHornFist001 Horn Fist Swordstick Very good Antique Swordstick, shaft and grip made of bamboo with dark age patina terminating in a brass feral with steel tip. 19.75”inch (just over 50cm) square section blade with dark patina and black age spots. Top of the cane is made from black Buffalo horn carved in the shape of a fist holding what appears to be a ribbed stick, between the finely carved fist and bamboo grip there is a gilded brass collar. This is a very fine stick in excellent condition overall length 38” inch (96.5cm).
Vintage Chinese swordstick used by Opium Dealers and Merchants.
Vintage Chinese swordstick The type carried by 19th Century Chinese Opium Dealers and Merchants. The stick and handle are made of Brass , the shaft Engraved with Chinese children ,some carrying fruit some dancing and one with a Gong! There are also engravings of flowers and trees with fruit.The Children are copper plaited which makes them nicely stand out on the Brass. The handle part is engraved with a wise old man or Monk? With a staff in one hand and a fruit in the other hand and he is standing next to a tree in blossom. There is also a three digit signicher in Chinese writing.
The top of the handle is engraved with a Chinese symbol and five Foxes or Wolves. The coller also is engraved with a Chinese symbol.
The18.25inch/46.5 cm Blade is very unusiaul in crucifix form like a French 19th century Lebel Bayonet. Overall length 34.25 inches/87cm. Very good condition Some staining to blade OTHERWISE VERY GOOD!

White metal lion’s head pommel with black buffalo horn and carved ivory or bone handle with foliate and geometric designs. White metal feral with criss cross engraved designs. Open the swordstick by way of twisting the collar, it has a bayonet type fitting. Sturdy and thick sword type, blade of 25.5” inch (65cm) with a long shallow fuller to each side. Ebonised wooden shaft, carved at the throat and near the tip with deep geometric designs, long white metal feral with steel tip. Very good condition. Overall length 36” inch (91.5 cm).

Vintage Swordstick or dagger stick/cane with Stag Antler Handle,Inlayed with dot to either side with gives the aperiance of the handle in the form of a Bird.
Large Brass to the Handle and from this is a 12.5"/32.5cm Square Section Blade with makers mark(letters?).(some light pitting to blade).
Nice grained wood shaftlined with barss and resin?? .with Brass and steel ferrel.
